Richard F. Furia , Esquire (Deceased 1945-2011)

For more than 30 years, Richard F. Furia has practiced within the context of the solo or small firm handling both criminal and civil, plaintiff and defense matters. Currently, he is the founding and managing partner of Furia and Turner, limiting his practice to plaintiffs' personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, probate and trust law, real estate, workers' compensation, and other administrative litigation.

 

Richard received his bachelor's degree (cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967; he then attended Temple University School of Law and received his J.D. (cum laude) in 1971. Since 1985, he has received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubble and has been included in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers since 1997.

 

In 2006, Richard was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® and is featured in the June 2006 Philadelphia Magazine as a top lawyer in Pennsylvania. He was chosen by his peers as being among the best in the profession. Law & Politics Media conducts the research and surveys. The list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® includes the top five percent of the Pennsylvania Bar in all fields of practice.
